This notice explains how Raven Capital Mortgage Brokers L.L.C. (“Raven Finance”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information submitted through this website and related mortgage enquiries. It is intended to be read together with our Terms of Use and Cookie Policy.
Information we may collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may receive:
- identity and contact information such as your name, telephone number and email address;
- mortgage enquiry information such as residency status, monthly income, property price and preferred communication method;
- calculator information where you choose to include your current calculator inputs in an advisor enquiry;
- the content of communications you choose to send to us through WhatsApp, email or phone; and
- a local browser preference recording that you acknowledged the website privacy/cookie notice.
The website calculator runs in your browser. Calculator values are not sent to Raven Finance unless you choose an enquiry flow that includes them.
Why we use personal information
We may use personal information to respond to enquiries, assess the information you provide for an initial mortgage discussion, arrange requested contact, compare or progress suitable mortgage options, maintain enquiry and communication records, protect the security and integrity of our services, and meet applicable legal or regulatory obligations.
Where you separately opt in to marketing, we may also use your selected contact method for mortgage-related updates and offers. Marketing consent is optional and is not required to submit an enquiry.
Consent and your choices
Where we rely on consent, the request is presented separately from optional marketing consent. You can decline optional marketing and still submit a mortgage enquiry. You may withdraw an optional marketing choice by contacting us using the details below.
Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 concerning the Protection of Personal Data establishes a UAE framework for personal-data processing and data-subject rights. Where sector-specific rules impose additional requirements, those requirements also apply.
Retention and security
We aim to keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the enquiry, our business records, dispute management, and any applicable legal or regulatory record-keeping requirements. Retention periods can differ depending on the record and the relationship.
We use reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect information in our control. No internet or messaging service is completely secure. Do not send passwords, card details, banking credentials, passport copies or Emirates ID documents through the website enquiry forms.
Your privacy rights
Applicable UAE data-protection law may provide rights in relation to personal information, including rights to request correction of inaccurate information and, in applicable circumstances, to restrict or stop certain processing.
